PTFE Tape is 12mm wide and just 0.075mm thick, in a reel of 10 metres, designed to wrap around the male thread of any piping joint to ensure a good seal.
This is essential for all joints after a pressure sensitive pump so that the pump does not start up as water seeps out under pressure (but avoid using it on the inlet side of a pump because scraps of tape can damage pump components).
