Rainwater Harvesting working with Jewson
What is rainwater harvesting?
At first glance, rainwater harvesting can seem overwhelming, but here at Rainwater Harvesting Ltd, we make it simple.
So, what is it? Rainwater harvesting is the process of collecting rainwater and using it throughout your home. We can help cut your water bills by up to 50% by using rainwater for your gardens, toilets, and washing machines! Rainwater will be collected on your roof and passed into a storage tank via a pipe running down the side of your home. During this process, the rainwater will be filtered, ensuring it is clean and fit for purpose.
Rainwater harvesting is a great way to help the environment, chop your bills in half, and become more self-sufficient. It is becoming more and more popular each day, so why not book an appointment and start to collect rainwater?
Building For The Future
We had the great pleasure of working with Jewson with the opening of their new initiative ‘Building for the Future’
This is a new area to be rolled out across various Jewson location highlighting ‘Sustainability’ in homebuilding and renovation.
The building environment accounts for almost 40% of the world’s carbon emissions. At Jewson their determined to make a difference by Building for the Future! And that means supporting you. Whether that’s through training, support or providing smart and simple sustainable products and solutions for you to share with your customers.
How the building environment reacts to this situation is going to play a huge part in tackling climate change. While that might feel like a monumental task, the choices that you make for your customers on each and every project will make all the difference.
We also know that homeowners and renovators are increasingly looking for more efficient and sustainable solutions that still offer (and potentially enhance) the level of comfort that they expect. So, there is a lot you can do on your next project.
But we know you might need a helping hand as you get to grips with all of this, so we’re doing our best to support tradespeople through this transition with an improved ‘Building for the Future’ product range.
Featuring the latest innovations in lower carbon materials, air quality, thermal and acoustic performance, these products and solutions will help you maximise quality, efficiency and profit while building comfortable spaces that your customers will love.
While we know there’s still a long way to go, with the changes we’re putting in place, we’re sure we can build smarter, build better and make a difference.
Thursday 13th February saw the opening of the first ‘Building for the Future’ location in Jewson Cringleford, just outside Norwich.
